Uefa cup final: Glasgow Rangers vs Zenit St. Petersburg: Highlights
Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg and Scottish side Rangers FC will meet in the UEFA Cup final wednesday 14.05.
In the first semi-final, Zenit St. Petersburg gave German powerhouse Bayern Munich its biggest defeat in six years, beating them 4-0 in the game and 5-1 on aggregate.
Zenit opened the scoring in the second leg at Petrovski Stadium on a goal by forward Pavel Pogrebnyak off a free kick in the fourth minute. Pogrebnyak’s two goals tie him with Bayern’s Luca Toni for top goal-scorer in the tournament, both with 10.
Glasgow Rangers, beating Fiorentina 4-2 on a shootout in the second semi final, become the second Scottish side to reach the UEFA Cup final, following eternal rival Celtic FC, who lost to FC Porto in 2002-2003.

Prandelli confident Fiorentia can oust PSV
Fiorentina coach Cesare Prandelli is confident his Italian team can score in the Netherlands against PSV on Thursday night and progress to the UEFA Cup semi-finals.
The Viola travel to Eindhoven having drawn last week’s home leg 1-1 and knowing that a failure to score will see them eliminated at the quarter-final stage.
Speaking on Wednesday Prandelli said: “We know we will find it very difficult but we want to try because we’re convinced we can do it.”
Fiorentina are still battling on two fronts, chasing fourth place in Serie A - and a place in next season’s Champions League - and UEFA Cup glory.
PSV will be without Peru forward Jefferson Farfan and talented young Dutch midfielder Ibrahim Afellay, but Prandelli is not expecting their absences to give his side a helping hand.
“They’re missing two important players but … the players they replace them with will not weaken them,” he said.
“Hence we need to concentrate exclusively on ourselves. I remember well the first leg and we need to be organised and compact while trying to attack as much as possible.
“Even a great team like PSV can give something away and we will try to capitalise.”
