Description: He started his professional footballer career at Santos in 2001 where he played with other great players like Robinho, Diego and Alex. Robinho moved to Real, Diego to Weder, Alex to Fenerbahce and Elano moved to Shakhtar Donetsk in 2005. He gained a reputation of talented scoring midfielder and he managed to gain a first-team place in Shakhtar Donetsk’s team that plays in Champions League almost each year. Description: The club is a continuous oval bowl, with three tiers at the sides and two tiers at each end. Initially, all stands were named by compass direction, but they’ve changed name soon after. The west stand was renamed Colin Bell Stand after the former player, the Sound Stand was renamed Key 103 Stand, the North Stand is where the family stand is designed and the East Stand is unofficially named Kippex. Since it looks like nou camp bowl but it’s blue, the stadium’s called the Blue Camp.

Brief History: The stadium was initially designed for Manchester’s bid to host the 2000 summer Olympics but it was used only in 2002 for the Commonwealth Games. After these games, the stadium was converted for use as a football ground, and became the home of Manchester City FC who moved here from the Maine Road in 2003, signing a 250 year lease with Manchester City Council. City of Manchester Stadium became the 5th biggest stadium from Premier League and the 10th largest stadium in the United Kingdom. Brief Management history: His manager career is very long and full of successes. He started coaching in 1977 at Degerfors IF and managed to win promotion with them. This success took him to sign with IFK Goteborg. Here, from his first season he won the Cup and in 1982 he won a tremble: Swedish league, Swedish Cup and UEFA Cup. After this major success a lot of clubs from Europe wanted him but he signed with Benfica where he made almost same performances: He won Portughese League, the Cup from Portugal and almost won the UEFA cup but his team finished only as runners-up. He only won a cup with AS Roma and returned to Benfica to win again 2 championships and taking them to European Cup finals. In 1992, he went back to Italy where he managed to win another Cup  with Sampdoria and in 1997 he moved to Lazio were he had a lot of successes. In 2001 he was appointed as England’s coach but he didn’t won any major trophee with England and from 2006 he signed with Manchester City.

After the were founded as St Mark’s, in 1880, they took the name Ardwick AFC in 1887 and finally, in 1894 they named themselved Manchester City FC. During time, they managed to win League Championship twice, FA Cup four times, the League Cup twice and the European Cup Winners Cup once.

The best period from the club’s history in between 1960 and 1970, when they’ve won several trophies. Since 1976 they are still waiting to win another major trophy. One of the worst periods for Manchester City when they were relegated twice in three years, getting into the third tier of Brittish football.
