Fulham Sign Brede Hangeland
Fulham have signed Norwegian defender Brede Hangeland from FC Copenhagen for an Undisclosed fee. The 26 year old has previously played for Roy Hodgson at FK Viking. He has signed a 3 and a half year deal with Fulham. He has had 41 Caps for the norway side since 2002.
James McFadden Signs For Birmingham
James McFadden has signed for Birmingham City from Everton for a reported £5million Fee, thats a staggering £3.75Million Profit in just 4 years for Everton (he only cost £1.2 Million from Motherwell). The inspirational scottish midfielder will join old scotland boss Alex McLeish. The move seemed in doubt when Everton and Birmingham could not agree a fee, Also another undisclosed club came in with an offer at the last minute (this is believed to be Celtic) However the deal has gone threw and McFadden has since agreed personal terms and passed a medical.
Here is what Alex McLeish had to say about James McFadden
“He is the type of player you know you are going to get everything from for the entire 90 minutes of a game.
“He has matured. He has had his initiation at Everton in the Premier League
and for me he is a definite Premier League player. He has shown that in a very
good Everton side this season.
“When he has come into the side, I am not so sure anyone has looked as good as him.”
