Well it is Champions League this month and 5 British teams have made it through to the Knockout Stages, including Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea & Celtic, and with some great games coming up laters this month i thought we would show you how each team got through to the knockout stages.
We will start with Liverpool the most succesful British team in Europe can Rafa Benitez bring a second term of Euopean Glory for the scousers, Liverpool kicked off their campaign with an away Game against FC Porto, this game did not go to plan when Porto got a penalty in the 8th minute and Lucho González converted it into a lead for the home team.

Ronaldo Free Kick Vs Portsmouth
If you have not heard about or seen the Ronaldo free kick against portsmouth on Wednesday then where have you been the last couple of days? it was a special piece of magic from the winger, i personally have never seen anyone never hit a free kick like this, he approached the ball as if he was performing in “swan lake” and the finish was just amazing, no keeper could have ever saved it. EPL -Transfer Window - What Happened?
Well January is over so the transfer window is now closed, as always there was a last minute rush it’s like christmas eve for football managers, they scramble over each other for the players that they need to make that final push in the season, so lets sum up 30 days into 1 post….
Jermaine Defoe joins pompey, the striker was unhappy with the chances he got at white hart lane and was told it was ok if he left, so the del boy of football managers Harry Redknapp snapped him up for a reported £9million.
Benjani another del boy transfer, however ist may have not went through as benjani did not get too manchester city before the window closed, however Manchester city are adamant they filed the paperwork at 11:55…so watch in the next couple of days as this rolls out
Felipe Caicedo has signed for Manchester City for a reported £5million, he was signed to bolster Sven’s attacking options along with Fillipo Mancini (inter milian’s coaches son).
Birmingham signed James McFadden for £5million from Everton, this reunites the scottish striker with ex scotland boss Alex McLeish, will McFadden be able to work his magic and save birmingham from the drop
Fulham signed veteran striker Jari Litmanen, the 36 year old ex liverpool forward is expected to play a big role in fulhams battle for relegation according to Roy Hodgson, who is still searching for his first win for the cottagers.
