As beaten finalist on home soil four years ago Portugal will hope to go one better at UEFA EURO 2008. Portugal will play Turkey in their first match of the championship in Geneve on Saturday.

Turkey is returning to the international spotlight after six years in the shadows. Last time was in the FIFA World Cup 2002 in Korea/Japan, when they were beaten out in the semifinal against Brasil who was leaded by the coach Luiz Felipe Scolari, the man who is in charge of portugal of their opening opponents in Geneva.
