Brief Playing history: He played football as a midfielder for almost 18 years. During this time, he changed 9 clubs. He started professional football at Plymouth where his play was pretty impressive and that made him sign with Everton two years later. His gameplay wasn’t too well there, and he hasn’t made it to Everton’s first team. In 1981 he moved to Sheffield where he played the for 7 years in total. He also played for Newcastle and Man. City and one of his last clubs was Norwich City. In 1995 he ended his career at Shrewbury Town.

Brief Management history: He started managing in 1995 at Norwich City and each year after he changed his team until 2000, when he was appointed as West Bromwich Albion manager. In 2002 he took WBA to Premier League after beating their local rivals Wolverhampton in the end of the season. West Bromwich didn’t had a great first season in Premier League and were relegated. In 2005 Megson signed with Nottingham Forest and 2 years later he began coaching Bolton Wanderers. He didn’t had any major successes as a manager until today.
