Hearts play in the top flight of scottish football (SPL), They play at Tynecastle stadium located in Edinburgh currently owned by Lithuanian Banker Vladimir Romanov became the major shareholder of Hearts FC when he bought out Christ Robinson’s Stake in the club. He did this in the midst of a financial crisis at hearts late 2004. At first Hearts fans were over-joyed but Romanov’s constant meddling in team affairs have seen “The Jambo’s” form dip after several managerial “sackings” including George Burley (who was at the time rather succesful with hearts almost guiding them too the SPL title). Along with the much publicised dressing room revolt involving Paul Hartley, Steven Pressely & Craig Gordon this did not go down well with Romanov and within a few months all 3 of the players were soon gone from hearts, since the loss of these 3 players Hearts form has dipped.
The Current managerial status of Hearts is unknown with Stephen Frail being appointed as caretaker but it is believed he has no choice in the team selection.
