First-half goals from veterans Nick Barmby and Dean Windass gave Hull a first-leg win at Vicarage Road sunday and Phil Brown’s side have a great chance to book a place in the Wembley play-off final. Hull dominated the first game and the Watford players will have a job to convince themselves that they can win the second game. Still, Hull’s man of the match was goalkeeper Boaz Myhill who made several fine saves and if the Hornets can score first they could be capable of springing an upset. The KC Stadium will be rocking and with an excellent advantage going into the home leg it is difficult to see anything but Hull securing a place in the one off game to secure a place in the Premier League.
