Brief Playing History: He used to play as a defender. He began his professional career in 1988 at Berwick Rangers and next year he joined Swansea City but only when he came at Falkirk he made himself a name and a decent reputation after playing 5 years for the club. In 1995 he made the big step to Celtic but he hasn’t done too well there and he came back to play for smaller clubs in the next years like Hibernian or Ayr United. He decided to end his career in the place where he played really well, and after 3 more years at Falkirk, he retired in 2005.
Brief Management history: He started managing Falkirk in 2003 from 31th January and from 219 games, he managed to win 97, loose 77 and make 45 draw games. That’s a pretty good balance for a small team like Falkirk but he is a young coach and his coaching career has just started.
