Description: Flamini started his career in his home town as a youth for Marseille B. He played 2 years at this level and in 2003 he turned professional and started playing for Marseille’s first team in Ligue 1. A year later, he got the opportunity to play for Arsenal and, even though Marseille offered him a long-term senior contract, he rejected their offer and came to Arsenal. Here, he managed to play in 95 games for the club and scored 7 goals in almost 4 years. In 2007 he wanted to leave from the club but after a long talk with Arsene Wenger he changed his mind and remained here. At international level, he was called up for the first time in a friendly game in 2007: France vs. Argentina but he only started debut was in November 2007 when he played against Morocco. He is playing as midfielder for Arsenal where he formed a great partnership with Fabregas and in 2007 he has attempted the 2nd most passes in Premier League.
