Reading have been in terrible form as of late and they will be hoping that the FA Cup game that Middlesbrough played in will have affected their teams fitness as they had to play extra time vs. Sheffield. Reading have lost their last 8 matches and because of that they now sit in the relegation zone Steve Copell will be hoping to turn Reading’s fate around but that won’t happen unless they stop conceding goals, their last clean sheet was on the 7th of October. Gareth Southgate will be hoping that Alfonso Alves is fit after a head knock in the Cup game midweek but Middlesbrough will be without pacey French forward Allidiare who is serving a suspension after his sending off in last week’s game against Liverpool.
