Sunderland has managed to put more remove between then and the relegation zone after four consecutive home wins against Wigan Athletic. Dickson Etuhu and Daryl Murphy were on fire in their last game so the hope is that Liam Miller taking the sideline won’t affect the match too much. Dwight Yorke, Danny Higginbotham and Kieran Richardson are back from injuries and ready to head keep their winning streak going even if it isn’t a home match.

Portsmouth is focused on making up for the 2-0 they suffered against Sunderland earlier in the season. Sunderlands recent success looks to leave Portsmouth’s only advantage being it’s their home field.
