Schalke are the only surviving German team in the Champions League this season and they are now flying the flag for all German supporters, they managed to squeeze passed Valencia to take 2nd spot in their group behind Chelsea. Porto on the other hand finished top of their group with Liverpool a close second, FC Porto currently sit top of the BWin Liga 10 points in front of Benfica and they have only conceded 7 goals in the league this season.
