Description: St Andrew’s Stadium has a field dimension of 110×74 yards and it’s a 30,009 all-seated stadium. During time, the club had a lot of plans to rebuild several stands, like the Railway Stand but nothing was made to the stadium until recently, when the club reached in the Premier League.

Brief History: Built in 1905, the stadium is Birmingham City’s home from 1906. Over the years, the stadium became really big and could hold about 68,000 people but after world war II, the stadium’s capacity had to be reduced due to new security policies. In 1963, the stadium’s capacity was 53,204 and in 1988 the capacity has dropped further to 38,000. After the tragedies at Hillsborough there where new security policies and they’ve had to reduce the stadium’s capacity to 28,235, all-seated. Nowadays, the stadium’s capacity is a bit over 30,000, but, since the club has just gained promotion to premier league, they’ll try to increase it in the future.
