The Fair Play Stand is the newest addition to the stadium and it was built in 1997. The West Stand, also called The Shed, was built in 1957 and it still has the same roof since it was built. Along the north side of the stadium, in 1991-1992, a two tier stand was built named after a long serving club director, called the George Fox Stand. The East Stand, opened in 1994, is similar to George Fox Stand.
Brief History: Tannadice Park is the home of Dundee United since 1882 and it’s built really close to Dens Park, the new Dundee FC Ground. During time, Dundee United has it’s biggest performances here. The stadium was renovated twice, once in 1909 and once in the 1990s where almost all stands were rebuilt in more modern way, or had severe modification. All new stands are fully seated and from 1994 Tannadice is all-seated.
