Goalkeepers are often overlooked but they are probably the most important player in the team because no matter how good your attack is if your goalkeeper has butter fingers then it won’t matter how many goals you score, Sure they don’t have the glitz of dribbling the ball past 3 players and they don’t perform fancy skills…and if they do it usually ends up in tears. A Goalkeepers job is simple, to stop the ball from going in the back of the net, sounds easy huh? well think again! Anyway i think it’s about time we paid some respects to the greatest Goalkeepers ever to grace the premiership and some of the fine saves these guys have pulled off.
