Description: Tynecastle stadium or Tynie is an all-seater stadium with a capacity of 17,420. The stadium has four stands and it’s located in Edinburgh.

Brief History: In 1886 Hearts moved to their new stadium and played a match against Bolton Wanderers to inaugurate their new home. In 1954, Tynecastle became Scotland’s first all-concrete stadium and it had a capacity of over 50,000. Stricter ground safety regulations cut the stadium’s capacity to less than 30,000 in the 70s and it became even smaller a couple of years later. In the 90s the stadium was renovated and currently, after the club was bought by Vladimir Romanov, the Main Stand of the stadium is being rebuilt. This will add more seats to the stadium and it would take it over 23,000. Like this, the stadium will become the 5th largest stadium from Scotland. On the new main stand there’s also going to be an attached hotel, bars, office spaces and restaurants.
